Spring is finally here in full swing, and that means one thing–prom season is
upon us! Prom night is easily one of the most anticipated nights of any high
school girl’s career, and is furthermore the perfect excuse to finally use the pricey
eyeshadow palette that you just had to have while shopping at Sephora!
Prom is much more than one night, it’s an experience that you will never forget,
so take this article as a sign to make it one to remember! Skip the expensive
makeover and instead give yourself a tasteful makeover that will keep you
looking flawless in photos throughout the night.
It may sound daunting but these looks are easy to replicate and are sure to
impact.
Goth Lips
A dark lipstick can feel almost too bold, especially when all your friends are going
for a nude look, but dark lipstick will make you stand out like nothing else! And if
you go light on the rest of your makeup, an almost-black lipstick can look
incredibly glamorous. Just be sure to go bold and dark for your brows in order to
balance the goth lipstick out.
Minimal and Dewy (But Still Glam) Look
If there’s anything that is a constant trend lately, is the no-makeup makeup look.
And the secret to achieving the look is playing with different textures. Glossy lips,
dewy cheeks, and feathered brows are very subtle, but eye-catching. If you want
to add an extra little extra to your look, apply a pair of natural-looking falsies.
A Bold Take on the Cat Eye
This not so typical look on a cat eye, is positive to give you a smoldering look that
will stand out in a sea of smoky eyes. Grab your favorite liquid liner and encircle
your eye, giving a slight flick on both the inner and outer corners of the eye.
Sultry Metallic Lids

Cover your lid using a highly-pigmented metallic eyeshadow to make your eyes
pop. Smoke some dark plum or cobalt blue on your lower lash line to easily
intensify the look.
Rainbow Eyeliner
2019 is all about color, therefore, in order to add pops of color to an otherwise
neutral eye look: line your upper lid with a royal blue or emerald green liner and
line the water line with a pop of pink or teal, while smudging it into your lower
lash line. Pair the look with your favorite nude lip and apply a hint of coral blush.
