Established in 1952, the St. Patrick’s Committee of Holyoke, Inc. is a non-profit, volunteer organization that plans one of the most festive St. Patrick’s celebrations in the Northeast. The Holyoke St. Patrick’s Parade annually welcomes over 400,000 spectators to Holyoke and another 1 million+ who watch it live on the local NBC television affiliate, WWLP, or streaming on www.wwlp.com. The annual Holyoke St. Patrick’s Day Road Race, held the day before the Parade, is one of the premier 10K road races in New England and draws thousands to a festive block party in downtown Holyoke. The Holyoke St. Patrick’s Parade has been designated a local legacy by the Library of Congress.

OneHolyoke CDC is a private nonprofit organization founded in 1971. They are dedicated to improving housing for low- and moderate-income Holyoke residents. They build new homes, improve and manage a portfolio of multi-family buildings and, in partnership with the city, offer loan and grant opportunities to property owners that need to improve their properties.

The City of Holyoke aims to inspire their community, support continuous growth, and create opportunities for all.
