Eastern States Exposition (ESE) will hold its 2023 Big E Job Fair Tuesday, August 8, 2023, from 10 am to 1 pm in the Storrowton Village Museum’s Greenwich Barn.

The event is open to the public and is free of charge. Job-seekers will have the opportunity to network with many different ESE departments. This is a rare opportunity for many hours of work in a short period of time as The Big E is open for 17 consecutive days.

With a fun and uplifting atmosphere, The Big E attracts workers from the region and many parts of the country. Additionally, once workers experience a Big E job, they tend to return year after year.

“Our Big E workforce consists of people who have been with us anywhere from just a few years, to decades. Some take vacation time and others come in from other areas of the country to assume their Big E role and reconnect with co-workers. We really have a Big E family during the Fair,” Gene Cassidy, ESE president and CEO said.

“We take so much pride in our agricultural mission and the time that our hiring managers take to share with prospective employees what it means to be a part of the Big E family! If you’re looking for a job for September, definitely check out the Job Fair,” Jessica Fontaine, ESE Education and Human Resources director, said.

ESE will be recruiting for positions in the following areas:

• Admissions – Ticket Sellers/Takers
• Agriculture – Feed Store Crew
• Agriculture – Farm-A-Rama Staff
• Marketing – Information & Reception Staff
• Operations – Custodial/Maintenance/Bathroom Monitors/Trash Collection
• Parking Staff
• Giant Slide Attendants
• Retail – Cashiers/Shift Supervisors
• Public Safety – Horse Show Security/Security Staff/Shuttle Drivers
• Sales – Office Assistants

All staff will receive training for their roles prior to the Fair.
Directions: Enter Gate 1 and proceed through the Visitor’s Center clock tower, straight to the south entrance of the Village on Commonwealth Avenue.
