Ah yes the good ole days of block parties, neighborhood watches and so on. Do you sassy gals ever wonder what happened to the small things you used to do to better unite with your neighbors?
In today’s day and age neighbors barely wave hello to one another. If small gestures such as that are fading, what will happen in a few decades from now? It appears as if all forms of genuine human kindness are dwindling-FAST.
Therefore, the sassy gal is offering to help all you sassy ladies better unite your communities three easy steps.
1.) Did someone say pat-tay? Block party that is. Gather your neighbors and host an old-fashioned block party. It allows you all to mingle, connect and get to know the people living less than 500 feet from you.
2.) Start a neighborhood newsletter! Whether its talking about up and coming charities you need help with or community happenings, its great to keep your neighbors up to speed.
3.) Read a book, literally. Start a book cub, knitting club, or whatever type of club it is that tickles your fancy. Once again, it’s a great way to learn something new and connect with your neighbors.
Do you have a close-knit community?
